We have a group of people from Bucks County, PA and Hamilton, NJ that worked together last weekend to coordinate and deliver donated items to shelters in NJ. We were able to deliver 5 SUVs (well, 4 SUVs and one pickup truck) and a box truck FILLED with clothes, cleaning supplies, food, blankets, water, etc. to Pineland Regional High School in Little Egg Harbor Township. (Here are some images).

Sunday’s effort all came together in about 24 hours

We're going to do it again.

Next weekend (November 11th), we are going to deliver much needed items to the people of Union Beach, NJ. I’m fairly certain it’s a 100% year-round residential community.

Here are some images of the devastation they suffered: http://on.app.com/WcLuFX

Glad you asked.

Why money? Well, maybe you aren’t local. Maybe you want to help but you want to know where exactly your donation is going?

My thought is that any monetary donations will go to help the volunteers cover the costs of gas, possible UHaul rental (if I can’t find a willing donor) (We have 3 box trucks now, as well as about 10 SUVs). All extra monetary donations will go to help people directly, the shelters, or the American Red Cross. (Still working on those details, but the American Red Cross will receive the extra money if we can’t get it directly to those in need).

Any donation you make will go to help this effort.

Thank you so much for any help that you can offer and THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY DONATED!
